Booking terms
The plain-English terms for booking courts, classes, memberships and gift cards on this site.
Who you're dealing with
Every booking, membership, class place, event entry or gift card you buy here is a contract between you and your club — the club sets the prices, the rules and the cancellation policy. PlanIt-BookIt provides the booking platform on the club's behalf. The platform is operated by Objitec Ltd, registered in England & Wales (company no. 09393006) · Registered office: Ivy House, 10 Weddall Close, YO24 1EG · admin@planit-bookit.com.
Prices and payment
- The full price of anything you book — including VAT where it applies — is shown on screen before you confirm. There are no hidden fees.
- Where payment is due online it's taken by your club's own payment provider (Stripe or PayPal) on their secure pages; your card details never touch this site.
- Booking confirmations arrive by email with the details and, where VAT applies, the VAT amount and the club's VAT number.
Cancelling a booking
- You can cancel an upcoming court booking yourself from My bookings. Whether a paid booking is refunded is your club's own policy, and the site shows you the club's position clearly at the moment you cancel — before you confirm the cancellation.
- Because a court, class or event is booked for a specific date and time, the 14-day "cooling-off" right that applies to most online purchases doesn't apply to these bookings (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). Your rights when something goes wrong with the service itself are unaffected.
- If the club has to cancel your booking, the club's staff will let you know and put it right under its own policy.
Gift cards
- Gift cards carry an expiry date, shown before you buy and again on the card's email and your gift-cards page.
- They can be spent on bookings and fees at the issuing club, and aren't exchangeable for cash.
Memberships
Membership types, prices and renewal dates are set by your club and shown under My membership before you join or renew. Nothing renews without you choosing it on screen.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself; bookings made through your account are treated as yours.
- Keep your contact details up to date so confirmations and alerts reach you.
The service
We work to keep the site available and accurate, but like any online service it can occasionally be down for maintenance or faults — if the site is unavailable, contact the club directly to book. Nothing in these terms limits any right the law says can't be limited, or excludes liability that can't lawfully be excluded.
Questions and complaints
Talk to your club first (its contact details are in the footer and on the Help page) — pricing, refunds and club rules are the club's to resolve. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
